Chief Executive’s Message

Dear Member,

As we approach the next relaxation of the Government’s covid-19 restrictions on 17th May, and with all our outdoor activities now in full swing, the Board has agreed to Members being allowed to invite guests.

From Monday 17th May the following applies:

◊ Golf guests can be invited to the Club from 17th May – One guest per Member allowed on Mondays (9 holes only), Tuesdays (18 holes), Thursdays (9 holes only) and Sundays (18 holes) from 3pm onwards. To maximise tee time slots a Member and their guest must be prepared to play with another two ball in a four-ball slot whether two Members or a Member and another guest. No guests on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday please until further notice. On days when guests are only able to play 9 holes, the guest fee will be 50% of the 18 hole rate.
◊ Tennis – up to 3 guests per Member but for one court booking only per day on weekdays and after 2pm at weekends.
◊ Padel Tennis – No guests
◊ Squash – No guests
◊ Croquet – One guest per Member at any time
◊ Snooker – One guest per Member at any time
◊ Health Club –No guests at any time

We will also be programming activities for adults and Juniors to enjoy together throughout the week as a supplement to the children’s playground and the MUGA on Court 11.

Outdoor Spin classes start on Tuesday 4th May as well to further boost the variety of outdoor exercise until we can safely revert indoors. Click here for details

Test and Trace

NHS Test and Trace is a key part of the country’s ongoing COVID-19 response and as such we are required to display an NHS QR code in all our hospitality areas.  We ask that you scan the QR code when dwelling in any of these areas.  The NHS COVID-19 App has a feature that allows users to quickly and easily ‘check in’ to the venue by scanning the code.  If you are unable to download the app we will ask you to complete a form.

Roehampton Club is making every effort to keep the Club as a safe haven for Members. All Staff are undertaking lateral flow tests twice weekly and having daily temperature checks to try to ensure Covid -19 is not introduced into the Club. Can I ask Members please to show the same level of care for fellow Members and staff by wearing face coverings indoors, social distancing at all times and continually sanitising their hands when entering and leaving the Club.

Thank you for your co-operation – protect others as well as yourself

Best wishes,
Marc
