Roehampton Club has a thriving and enthusiastic golf membership across all sections: men’s, ladies, mixed, senior and junior. The Club’s golf programme provides opportunities for social and match play through competitions, leagues, teams and roll-ups. Monthly competitions and matches against neighbouring clubs make up the full and varied fixture list.
The Golf Course
We take great pride in our magnificent 18-hole parkland golf course renowned for its excellent presentation and super smooth greens all year round. The Club has a practice putting green, chipping green, practice nets, computer room and a short game practice and teaching area.
Course Architects Ken Moodie and Ken Brown remodelled the bunkers and re-shaped a number of greens in 2010 to ensure the course offers challenging conditions for both prestigious Professional and Member events. Even the legendary Gary Player commented on one of his visits, that it was the most difficult course that he knew on which to score well!
From the men’s tees the course measures: par 71, 6043 yards, from the ladies’ tees: 5515 yards with a Par of 72. Professional Course record 62 – Amateur Course Record 65.

Since 1927 the Club has hosted the famous Gold Challenge Cup for professional and amateur lady golfers. The Club has also hosted the European Senior Tour Pro Am for the last three years and the Roehampton Club Junior Masters for the Toro Trophy since 2012.
