Chief Executive’s Message
Dear Member,
We are looking forward to welcoming you all back to use the outdoor areas of the Club from 29th March. My team have been very busy producing safe opening procedures for golf, tennis, croquet and swimming in the outdoor pool as published last week and updated this week for all Members.
Information on Easter holiday activity programmes is also available for Members to sign up their children for the range of sports we are permitted to offer. Adult and Junior group sizes for activities and for coaching are restricted due to Covid-secure regulations, so numbers are limited in many cases.
It promises to be a very busy first two weeks after lockdown and we ask for Members’ patience as we try to accommodate everyone’s wishes.
Bookings for golf, tennis, croquet open on 22nd March and for the outdoor pool on 26th March.
We will be maintaining a full programme of online activities for Members for general health and wellbeing to supplement the outdoor activities. Details are listed in the appropriate sections.
Can all Members please be aware that they must observe all social distancing regulations and the wearing of facemasks whenever they are at the Club be that indoors or outdoors. We want Members and staff to always feel safe.
On that point staff, who are working at the Club, are being asked to undertake lateral flow tests twice a week whether they have received a vaccination or not so we can minimise the risk of Covid-19 entering the Club.
Can I thank Members for their patience over the last three months and fingers crossed that the weather is kind for re-opening week.
