Health Club Swimming Update

The Health Club Team is looking forward to welcoming Members back to use the Outdoor Pool on the 29th March along with new Outdoor Classes and our continued online fitness class programme.

The Outdoor Pool will open at the beginning of the Easter holiday and our priority is to provide as many opportunities as possible for both Adults and Families to swim safely.

We anticipate demand for swimming will be very high and as such will be keeping the Outdoor Pool open in line with the Health Club opening times so that we can offer as many sessions as possible.

We will look to add Outdoor Pool Classes after the Easter holidays and when both swimming pools are re-opened.

In the meantime, please see below the Outdoor Pool Timetable for 29th March to 18th April along with a COVID secure reminder as to how we must operate until guidance is updated.

Outdoor Pool Opening Hours

Monday to Friday – 6am -to 9pm
Saturday  – 7am to 8pm
Sunday –  7am to 8pm

Health Club – Easter Weekend Bank Holiday Opening Times

Good Friday – 8am to 8pm
Saturday – 7am to 8pm
Easter Sunday – 7am to 8pm
Easter Monday – 8am to 8pm

Outdoor Pool Bookings

– Go Live on Friday 26th March at 6:30am
– You can book via the Members Website, Health Club App and Reception at the following days and times:
o Friday 26th March 6:30am – 12noon
o Saturday 27th March 7am – 12noon
o Sunday 28th March 7am – 12noon
At all other times please contact the Clubhouse Reception

From Monday 29th March the Health Club Reception will be staffed throughout our opening times.

Booking Information

– Bookings can be made 3 days in advance (from 6:30am daily)
– Under all circumstances, please cancel more than 12hrs in advance
– All no shows will be blocked from booking for a 7 day period
– Please be careful and considerate when making bookings to ensure you only book one swimming slot
– Bookings restricted to 3 swims per Member per week
– Please book the correct swim session as detailed below

Lane Swim = 6 Members per lane, 16yrs and above. Clockwise lane swimming.
Family Swim = Adult and child individual family session in one lane (no mixing of households). 6
swimmers max per lane.

Health Club – COVID Secure Reminder

To help us maintain the high standards and safety around the Health Club there are a few key things which Members can help with to ensure your experience is the best it can possibly be. Please see a few key areas below:

◊ Please arrive ‘Swim Ready’ for your session
◊ Bring your own towel
◊ Please use the changing tents after your swim (there will be no indoor changing available)
◊ Pre-shower before entering the Swimming Pools
◊ If you need to overtake please do this briefly at the end of the pool
◊ Please follow the rules in place for each activity, they have been put in place to ensure Member comfort and safety

Our operation will continue to be reviewed regularly and can be extended when further guidelines permit.

We ask that all Members continue to respect social distancing guidelines and Club policy to ensure the safety of Members and Staff at the Club.

Pending further Government updates and changes we hope to reinstate the following Health Club facilities and activities as per the timeline below:

12th April

o Gym
o Indoor Pool
o Spa
o Changing rooms – only available for Indoor Pool users

19th April

o Outdoor Pool Classes – Hydro / Adult Swim Classes
o Swimming Lessons – *we will personally contact all Members enrolled into lessons, and
who are waiting or have enquired about lessons

17th May

o Adult Indoor classes

21st June

o Steam room and Sauna
o Sunbathing
o Towels
