Congratulations all round

Congratulations must go to Joe Salisbury for winning the Canadian Masters Series Title with partner Rajeev Ram. They beat the world number one pair from Croatia and Joe’s world ranking has gone up to number five ready for his bid to win the US Open title.

A round of applause also for Annabell Fuller for qualifying for the AIG British Womens Open at Carnoustie. She hopes to make the cut for the weekend as she strives to finish top amateur player. To have a Roehampton Club Member teeing off in a Major Golf Championship is another first in her still young career.

Coverage of the Women’s Open is on BBC 2 and Sky Sports.

Bravo to Louis Laville (Golf and Games Assistant) as he became National Men’s Pickleball champion last weekend in Bolton. Its comforting to know that our pickleball coach is the best player in the country! Find out more about Pickleball and sessions for Members to try on Saturday 28th August.

Lastly, time for all our Padel tennis players to shine is in our inaugural Club Championships from 23rd August to 4th September. Please click here for details and don’t forget you can book lessons with Chris Salisbury and Paul Lindsay if you need to sharpen up before the tournament.

Best wishes,

Marc Newey, Chief Executive –
