Halloween Workshop and Pool Party

On Wednesday 30th October, we had our annual Halloween Workshop, and for the first time this year, we also had a pool party!

Children had a tremendous amount of fun, carving pumpkins, decorating biscuits and most of all, they enjoyed the scavenger hunt and pumpkin race in the pool. We will definitely replicate this next year!

An Evening with John Bercow

The last event of October was a complete sell-out; we had the pleasure to hear John Bercow on his last day as Speaker of the House of Commons. Mr Bercow gave a real insight into his day to day life in Parliament and his role as the Speaker.

It was such a popular event that we had to stream the talk for Members in the Club Café.

Here’s what you said:

‘The atmosphere was fantastic, Bercow was funny and interesting and touring the room and chatting to everyone made it extra special.’

‘The meal was presented beautifully and absolutely delicious. Mr Bercow was intelligent, engaging and funny. A wonderful evening spent with friends and fellow Members.’

Fireworks Spectacular

On 1st November, we had the Club’s biggest and loudest event of the year – our annual fireworks display, street food, excellent walkabout entertainment, a hilarious magic show and the ever-popular Laser maze.   

It was fabulous to see so many families and friends enjoying the evening, with a record attendance of over 900 people.

Here’s what you said:

‘Fire dancers, laser dancers, sweets, fireworks. Ability to get in/out easily and quickly from event. Not too crowded’

‘They enjoyed seeing all their friends before and after the firework show. Enjoyed the magic show and dancing.’
