University Cup 2026
The 2026 University Cup will have eight teams, a one-day format and a dinner on the Saturday evening. We will also be adding a welcome breakfast and fun sports quiz at the dinner to the event. This is reflected in the entry fee per person. For 2026 we are also allowing a maximum of one alumni member per team.

It is with great pleasure that we invite you and your team to participate in the Roehampton Club University Cup 2026. The event, started in 2010 and expanded in 2012 has always provide competitive matches and a great social evening.
The support of BUCS and England Squash shows participation in squash is of great importance and this tournament provides an admired and sought-after fixture on the Universities’ sporting calendar.
The Roehampton Club University Cup will take place on Saturday 7th February 2026.
Roehampton Club, one of the UK’s foremost members’ sports clubs is delighted to continue hosting this BUCS and England Squash supported event. We (Roehampton Club, England Squash and BUCS) share a commitment to the development of sporting opportunity and aim, through this event, to provide a unique, high-quality competition for university squash clubs to include in their programmes.
What makes this event unique? The composition of the team, which, to confirm, is as follows:
Each team must be made up of five players, to include a minimum of one female and up to a maximum of two members of university staff. For 2026 we are also allowing a maximum of one alumni member.
We have invited all those universities who expressed a wish to be included again, plus some new entrants.
The event will include a breakfast, a dinner and prize giving ceremony on the Saturday evening.
