Swim hats for Juniors
Every child in our swim school will be issued a swim hat that corresponds with the respective swim lesson stage they are on.
This will help our lifeguard team when supervising the pool and help us to offer a safer swimming experience for our young swimmers.
Some other benefits of wearing a swim hat include …
◊ Helps to establish good hygiene swim habits from an early age.
◊ They prevent goggles from pulling on children’s hair and also help with the position of the goggle straps. Many goggles now are designed to work perfectly with hats, making goggles more comfortable to wear
◊ They reduce drag in the water making you more streamline. This is why competitive swimmers wear them, but this can also help with your day-to-day swimming
On the first week of the term, your child’s swim teacher will give them their assigned colour swim hat which all children must wear for every swim lesson. This has been made a mandatory requirement to attend swim lessons and we welcome parents support in making this happen. The swim hat will be provided by the Club and every time a child moves up a stage, they will get a new swim hat with their certificate.
