I am pleased to announce we now have a range of Men’s, Ladies’ and Junior clothing and footwear from Adidas and Playbrave. Every item in the Adidas tennis/sportswear collection is designed to ensure optimal comfort and maximum support. The Adidas technologies that have been incorporated into these garments help you to stay dry by driving the sweat and heat away from your body, while ensuring breathability and performance.

The Playbrave Roehampton Club collection is all embroidered with the Club logo and exclusive to us. It is made from technical, performance fabrics to provide all weather sportswear that will not inhibit your game. Autumn Meeting – are you prepared?

With the golf Autumn Meetings fast approaching why not utilise one of our seven PGA Professionals to help your preparation? We can help you on all aspects of the game to give you more confidence to shoot better scores.

Whether it be to check your fundamentals for your long game or gain more confidence to get out of bunkers – we are here to help. We can also utilise Trackman 4 technology to work on hitting more fairways or whether it be measuring exactly how far each club in your bag goes.

September is for Short Game!

 

Despite many club golfers having regular long game lessons and being custom fit for the latest technology in their woods and irons, we predominantly see the care and attention given to players developing their short game completely overlooked. The key to lowering your score is improving your performance on the ‘scoring shots’ – approach shots, pitches and chips.

 

Throughout September we will provide free-of-charge wedge assessments, looking at your current equipment and giving our professional advice to fit wedges to your individual technique, preferences and set make up.

What does wedge fitting include? We assess the following:

◊ Grind
◊ Bounce
◊ Length and lie
◊ Shaft – steel or graphite
◊ Grip size and compound
◊ Yardage gapping

We have a full selection of Titleist SM8, Callaway MD5, Mizuno T-20 and Yonex WS2 available to try. Contact the Sports Shop to book your free 30-minute assessment.

Free Brand Custom Fitting Events

Join us and a custom fitting expert from each brand to try and test the latest equipment in September. September is a busy month for new product releases so we have the perfect opportunity to get custom fitted for the latest technology.

Ladies Golf Clinic

We have just 3 spaces available in our upcoming Ladies Clinic on Thursday 10th September starting at 10am.  The session will be split into three aspects – Putting, Short Game and Long Game and you will receive some expert advice on how to improve your game over a two-and-a-half hour session. The clinic is limited to just 12 ladies and offered on a first-come, first-served basis at a cost of £50 per person.

Sunday Golf Clinics with PGA Professional Will Hancock

Join Will on Sunday afternoons to learn more about every aspect of the game with expert advice from Will. Spaces are limited to just 4 people per week and cost £20 for a one hour session and start at 4pm lasting 1 hour.

Sunday 6th September – Fairway Woods – maximise your distance and accuracy using Trackman Technology

Sunday 20th September – Driving – hit more fairways whilst gaining more distance using Trackman Technology
