Spa Pool access and FAQs

Steam Room and Sauna

As you may be aware Government guidance has now changed to allow the reopening of Steam Rooms and Saunas (October 2020).

We have reviewed the operating guidance and following consultation with the Health Club Forum it has been agreed that the Steam Room and Sauna would be best served as additional changing areas for Outdoor Pool swimmers as we are now entering the winter months.

How do I use the Spa?

The Spa can only be used by Members as part of an Indoor Pool booking.

Will I be able to use the Spa if I am swimming in the Outdoor Pool?

The Spa will only be available for Members who are swimming in the Indoor Pool, this is to maintain regulated safety numbers within each facility.

How many people can use the Spa at one time?

The spa can be used by 1 Member at a time.

Can Members of the same household use the Spa together?

This must be adhered to. Social bubbles are not permitted as this cannot be verified by Health Club Staff and may put Members at risk.

How long can I use the Spa for?

Members can use the Spa for one rotation (6 mins) of the Spa jets in one go, this is to allow other Members to use the Spa during the session.

Will the Spa be cleaned regularly?

The Spa area will be cleaned and sanitised thoroughly in a 15-minute window after each session before access is granted for the next group of Members.

What age can children use the Spa?

The Spa can only be used by children aged 12yrs and above.

Thank you.
