Opening up catering at the Club
With the Government announcing that hospitality areas can reopen with restrictions from 4th July the food and beverage team is busy preparing the outdoor area, bar terrace and Members Bar for opening on Saturday 4th July. The popular Piazza Pop Up will continue to serve refreshments all day during the summer months. A full plan will be published early next week for Members to follow.
The Rock n Roll Years with Chris Bray – ends this week with a Pot Pourri of items he has recorded over the last twenty years
For the last seven weeks Chris Bray has kept Members amused / entertained / educated by broadcasting the BBC’s Rock’n’Roll Years which spanned the years 1956-1989. Those broadcasts will finish on Thursday 25th June with 1989 and the fall of the Berlin Wall and the death (largely) of communism.
If you watch all the programmes you get to understand just how many wars and disasters, there have been over that time and that everything is cyclical. Chris will end the broadcasts on Friday evening with a more upbeat broadcast and to that end he has put together a Pot Pourri of items that he has recorded over the last twenty years and have used in both work and private environments when lecturing.

The whole thing is child-friendly, will last between 45 minutes and one hour and will be broadcast via Zoom at 5.30 pm.
