Established in 1836 by Alexandre-Louis Pommery, the House of Pommery is one of the most prestigious names in Champagne. Renowned as the Pioneer of Modern Champagne, Madame Pommery created the world’s first Brut Champagne in 1874. Based in Reims, the Pommery Domaine sits on 11 miles of chalk cellars, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in which Pommery matures every bottle it produces. Today, Pommery is an internationally recognised Grande Marque – synonymous with contemporary style, elegance and finesse.
Alex Household has worked in the wine and spirits trade across the world, and he now represents Pommery covering London and the South Coast of England. The son of an independent fine wine merchant, his passion for the industry stems from childhood visits to vineyards across Europe, but his passion truly emerged whilst representing portfolios of wines and spirits across Western Africa.
