Roehampton Club University Squash Cup 2024

Dear University,

It is with great pleasure that we invite you and your team to participate in the Roehampton Club University Cup 2024.
The event, started in 2010 and expanded in 2012 has always provide competitive matches and a great social evening.

The support of BUCS and England Squash shows participation in squash is of great importance and this tournament provides an admired and sought-after fixture on the Universities’ sporting calendar.

For 2024, the Roehampton Club University Cup will take place over the weekend of Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th February 2024.

We may still need to be flexible with the 2024 tournament but the plan is to have 16 teams, two-day format and a gala dinner on the Saturday evening.

For 2024 we are also allowing a maximum of one alumni member per team.

Roehampton Club, one of the UK’s foremost private members’ sports clubs is delighted to continue hosting this BUCS and England Squash supported event. We (Roehampton Club, England Squash and BUCS) share a commitment to the development of sporting opportunity and aim, through this event, to provide a unique, high-quality competition for university squash clubs to include in their programmes.

What makes this event unique? The composition of the team, which, to confirm, is as follows:

Each team must be made up of five players, to include a minimum of one female and up to a maximum of two members of university staff.

For 2024 we are also allowing a maximum of one alumni member
Teams will participate on both days.

The event will include a gala dinner on the Saturday evening.
The prize giving ceremony will be at the conclusion of the tournament on Sunday afternoon / early evening.
