Padel: change to guest rule

While plans and a new planning application are still ongoing for five more padel courts and with the usage on the current two padel courts remaining extremely high, it has been agreed to amend the number of guests a Member can sign in per court booking.

Not wishing to impact the existing padel offer to the membership, the Board agreed to amend the padel guest policy to one guest per Member only, at all times. Effective from Saturday 9th May.
We hope this will reduce some pressure on the court bookings, yet still allow Members to bring a guest to enjoy padel and facilities at the Club.

Please note that a guest can only play six times in total as a sporting guest per year.
The restriction on padel guests will be reviewed when more courts are available.

Vacancies for the Padel Tennis Forum

If you have a passion for improving the experience at the Club for Padel Tennis Members and their guests, please apply to sit on the Club’s Padel Tennis Forum. The Forum is set up to review and improve the Padel offering in the Club. It will usually meet three times per year to discuss the sport, associated tuition and social activities offered for all ages. The Forum has six vacancies for 2026 – 2028.

If you believe that your ideas and suggestions will help us to enhance the Padel Tennis Member experience at the Club, please submit a short written application via email to Paul.lindsay@roehamptonclub.co.uk explaining what you have to offer by Tuesday 30th June 2026. Click here for the Terms of Reference for the Forum which is also available from Reception.
Successful applicants will be advised by mid July 2026 and the next Padel Forum Meeting will take place 11am – 1pm in August at a date to be advised.
