Member appeal to help St Georges Hospital staff

I am sure all of you have been seeing the awful situation for our doctors and nurses in the hospitals. I saw one interview which I found really upsetting where a nurse said that they had received lots of goodies during the first lockdown but that supplies had dried up during this latest lockdown. I have contacted St Georges Hospital Charity who have explained that they are currently giving out 100 wellbeing boxes at St Georges sites every week. They would be delighted to receive further supplies of the following items:

  • Good quality gifts in small packages
  • Handwritten thank you cards Small boxes of chocolates
  • Expensive face cream
  • Expensive hand cream (including for men)
  • Expensive bath and shower gel (including for men)
  • Selection of teas
  • Luxury toiletries – bath bombs, face masks, foot masks etc
  • Vouchers

We are happy to collect any of these items you would like to donate at our home. We will then deliver to St Georges. Please email us at marksputney@hotmail.com for further information and our address to drop off your donations.

Hope you are all safe and well!

Warm regards,
Members Jean and Ken Marks
