Ladies’ Golf Charity Library

The Ladies’ Charity Library is located in the Ladies’ Changing Room in the Clubhouse and raises funds each year for the Lady Golf Captain’s nominated – usually local – charity. A considerable amount of money has been raised for charity over the last almost 18 years.

However takings have been impacted by the arrival of the Kindle, Covid and many new Members who are unsure as to how it works!

Cash is still accepted and £1 per book can be put in the money box. Or fill up a white slip found next to the Library with your name, membership number and amount. Pop this into the provided box. Once processed the stated amount will be requested from your membership card and given to the charity fund.

Our thanks go to all our Members for the endless donations of books. But – a gentle reminder- we only accept up-to-date fiction and biographies, paperbacks (NO HARDBACKS) and books in excellent condition.
