Toddler Playpen
Following discussions at the recent Health Club Committee meeting, I would like to inform you of a change regarding the toddlers play pen that was previously located in the Male Changing Room.
At the request of the Family Forum, a play pen was initially placed in the Male Changing Room of the Health Club to better support fathers attending with young children, mirroring the facility already available in the Female Changing Room.
However, we have received feedback from male users expressing concerns about space constraints, despite efforts to position the play pen without reducing bench seating or overall changing capacity.
As a result, and after further consideration at the Health Club Committee meeting, it has been agreed that the play pen will be removed from the Male Changing Room and relocated to the Family Changing Room. This will be trialed in that location. The play pen may need to be temporarily removed from time to time to maintain accessible access when needed.
We appreciate your understanding as we work to balance the needs of all our Members. If you have any questions or would like to provide further feedback, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me stuart.reeks@roehamptonclub.co.uk
Reformer Pilates
A polite reminder that an induction needs to be completed before taking part in a Reformer Pilates class. If you would like to be booked in for an induction please speak to Lucy Carter, Deputy Gym and Studios Manager at lucy.carter@roehamptonclub.co.uk
Outdoor Gym
The outdoor gym on Lime Tree lawn is proving to be a popular addition and is used for all of our outdoor bootcamp classes, with the prospect to have it bookable outside of class times as an overspill from the Health Club gym, along with some new and exciting classes.
This brings an array of different and upgraded equipment that will really level up the way we train, from wall balls and targets to squat racks and monkey bars. For more information, please speak to a member of the Gym Team or please use the online booking system to secure your space in our outdoor classes.
The Outdoor Gym should only be used under the supervision of a trained staff member.

Changing room etiquette
Please can all Members ensure that their children are supervised while in the changing room. We pride ourselves on providing a clean and safe environment for everyone to use, however, recently we have had a few situations where children have either damaged or misused the changing rooms which has caused additional work for the Housekeeping Team. The consumption of food is forbidden in the changing room – please purchase from and consume food in the Juice Bar.
Studio and swimming pool etiquette reminder
To ensure the best experience for all participants, please arrive on time for your group exercise class. Late arrivals may lose their spot to someone on the waitlist who is present and ready at the start.
If you need to cancel your booking:
• More than 12 hours before the class – you can cancel online.
• Less than 12 hours before the class – please call the Health Club Reception at 0208 480 4245.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Change to accessing the Family Accessible Changing Room – Indoor Pool
If you require extra space to change as a family, we have an additional changing room which is located next to the Steam Room in the indoor pool area.
Previously, members were required to exchange their membership card at the Health Club Reception for a RADAR key. This is no longer necessary. You can now go directly to the changing room and use it without the need to collect a key from reception.
We politely request that this changing area only be used by Members who require a dedicated area with their children. If you have any questions, please speak to a member of the Health Club Team.
Health Club Weekend Policy
