Please shower before using the swimming pools

We kindly ask all Members to take a quick shower before entering the swimming pools. This helps remove sweat, lotions, and other products, keeping our pool water cleaner, fresher, and more hygienic. By doing this, we can reduce the need for chemicals and make the swimming experience healthier and more enjoyable for everyone. Thank you for your full co-operation.

Overshoes covers to be worn on poolside

We kindly ask all Members to wear the overshoe covers provided when entering the indoor pool area to collect children from swimming lessons. Wearing overshoe covers helps keep the poolside clean and hygienic by preventing dirt, dust, and germs from shoes entering the wet areas. This helps maintain safer, fresher water and a pleasant environment for everyone.

Adult Inter Club Swim Gala

On Wednesday 19th November, a group of our adult swimmers were invited to participate in an Inter Club Gala, hosted by the RAC Pall Mall Club. Eight swimmers took part competing against teams from the RAC Pall Mall Club, Hurlingham Club and Lansdowne Club.

Competition was tough and we managed wins in the 50m Backstroke, 50m Breaststroke, 100m Individual Medley and breath hold Plunge challenge.

Everyone had a lovely evening, and it was a nice opportunity to swim in a different pool and compete in an evening of high octane challenging swims. During dinner and drinks the winning club trophy was presented to the Hurlingham Club, who gained the most overall points.

Next year there will be an Inter Club Gala hosted by the Roehampton Club on Wednesday 17th June, as part of our 125 year Anniversary celebrations. We would love to hear from any swimmers who would like to be involved. Please email sue.wilson@roehamptonclub.co.uk for more information.

Changing room etiquette

Please can all Members ensure that their children are supervised while in the changing room. We pride ourselves on providing a clean and safe environment for everyone to use, however, recently we have had a few situations where children have either damaged or misused the changing rooms which has caused additional work for the Housekeeping Team. The consumption of food is forbidden in the changing room – please purchase from and consume food in the Juice Bar.

Studio and swimming pool etiquette reminder

To ensure the best experience for all participants, please arrive on time for your group exercise class. Late arrivals may lose their spot to someone on the waitlist who is present and ready at the start.

• Less than 12 hours before the class – please call the Health Club Reception at 0208 480 4245.
