Non-cancellation of a group exercise class booking

We have seen an increase in Members not attending their group exercise class and not cancelling their booking. Due to high demand for the classes, it is frustrating for Members who wished to participate but were unable to as the class was fully booked. The Health Club Committee has therefore approved a process for non-attenders who don’t cancel their booking, in line with other sports at the Club.

From Monday 22nd April if you have booked a group exercise class but are unable to attend, the booking must be cancelled at least 12 hours prior to the start time.
If the start time is within 12 hours, then please call the Health Club Reception 020 8480 4245 or email

Failure to follow this procedure will result in that Member receiving a strike and three strikes in a rolling 60-day period will result in a two-week ban from booking group exercise class and five strikes within a 60-day period will lead to a month-long ban from booking.

Changing Room Etiquette

Please ensure that children are supervised while in the changing rooms. If your child has had a diarrhoeal illness in the last 72 hours, please do not allow them to swim
In the event of an incident please inform staff immediately as this may reduce the time of the pool being closed

Roehampton Club reserves the right to charge £500 to cover the cost of disinfection of the pool water and disruption to Members following an incident.

Members must also complete an incident form with the Health Club Duty Manager to ensure preventative measures have been followed prior to the incident.

If these preventative measures have not been implemented a fee will be charged.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, however this is a necessary action to prevent further pool closures. Please help us to keep your pool open.
