Swim Gala 

The Swim Gala will take place in the Indoor Pool on Sunday 8th March from 2pm to approximately 4pm. 

It’s a 25m race on each stroke, depending in which age group the child is booked.

Age group Front crawl Back stroke Breaststroke Butterfly
7 – 8 years x
9 – 10 years x
11 – 12 years √*
13 – 15 years √*

*If they can’t swim butterfly stroke, the child will repeat the breaststroke race again.

 After all junior groups have finished; we will have the family competition – a relay race with one relative (adult) and one child. Each family member will have to race one length of

  • Front crawl
  • Backstroke
  • Breaststroke

The time of all strokes will add up and we will have a family final time.

Prize giving will take place after the competition at approximately 4.30pm in the Juice Bar area.

Please stick around for this as each competitor will receive a certificate and those who have won will receive their trophies and prizes.

Indoor Duathlon 

A fun and friendly event for Juniors and Adults to help raise money for the Club’s charity – Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability, based in Putney. It’s a Run, Cycle, Run with challenges for everyone. 

Depending on which challenge you would like to embrace, Members may pick which slots in which they would like to participate. 

Juniors, Saturday 14th March
Suitable for ages 11 – 15 years

Start times: 2pm, 2.45pm or 3.30pm

  • Run 3km on the treadmill
  • Bike 5km in the Spin Studio
  • Run 1km on the treadmill

Adults, Sunday 15th March 

Suitable for ages 16+


Start times: 1pm, 2.30pm or 4pm

  • Run 5km on the treadmill
  • Bike 20km in the Spin Studio
  • Run 2.5km on the treadmill

Start times: 11.15am or 5.30pm

  • Run 10km on the treadmill
  • Bike 40km in the Spin Studio
  • Run 5km on the treadmill

Entrance fee: Juniors £5 | Adults £10 All proceeds to the Club’s charity – the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability.

Swimathon, Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th March from 1 – 4pm

The Indoor Pool will be closed 12.30 – 4.30pm for event maintenance.

Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie are calling on the nation to get down to the pool for Swimathon 2020 – thousands of swimmers, two great causes, one big charity. With 400m, 1.5k, 2.5k and 5k distances available, there’s is something for all ages and abilities – it truly is a #SwimForAll

Join as an individual or get your friends, family and colleagues together and enter the 1.5k or 5k team challenges.
