Health Club and Fitness Class Update 

Following the positive news this week from the Government that Indoor Classes can return from Monday 17th May, please find below all the key information: 

Monday 17th May –

While we are excited for the return of the above activities, we must remind all Members to continue to follow all COVID Secure Guidance when attending the Health.

Our operation will continue to be reviewed regularly and will be extended when further guidelines permit. 

Changing Rooms

Due to continued Social Distancing Guidelines the Health Club Changing Rooms will remain open for indoor swimming pool users only. Outdoor Pool users can either use the changing gazebos of the makeshift changing rooms in the Sauna and Steam Room.

From 17th May members will be able to use the showers in the Clubhouse changing rooms however no towels will be provided until 21st June so we ask Members and guests to bring their own.

We would still encourage Members to come to the Club ‘sport ready’ and shower at home where possible to keep numbers low in all inside changing areas.

Health Club bookings information update

Bookings for the activities w/c 17th May can be made three days in advance on Friday 14th May from 6:30am
Thereafter bookings can be made three days in advance (from 6:30am daily)
Under all circumstances, please cancel more than 12hrs in advance.
All no shows will be blocked from booking for a seven-day period.
Please be careful and considerate when making bookings to ensure you only book one session.
Please book the correct session that you wish to attend.

We ask that all Members continue to respect social distancing guidelines and Club policy to ensure the safety of Members and Staff at the Club. 

Pending further Government updates and changes we hope to reinstate the following Health Club facilities and activities as per below:

21st June –

Sunbathing
Towels

From Monday 17th May gym and fitness class users may use the Clubhouse Changing rooms and showers, Members will need to provide their own towel. 

Further changes to Health Club activities may take place on the 21st June depending on Government and Industry guidance. 

Fitness Class Update 

Studio Classes Return Indoors

From Monday 17th May we welcome the return of Indoor Fitness Classes.  

We must continue to operate in line with Government and industry guidance to ensure our Classes remain COVID Secure, this means all Classes will operate with reduced capacities along with a cleaning and sanitising window between each Class.

We will continue to offer as many Classes as possible across all avenues of our Timetable, this means that we are running slightly less Classes indoors so that we may continue to offer Members the opportunity to continue with Outdoor Bootcamps, Outdoor Spinning and Virtual Classes as feedback has been very positive for all of these to continue. 

In the Indoor Pool we are pleased to see the return of Aqua Classes whilst Hydro Spin will continue taking place in the Outdoor Pool. 

As always, we will review the success of each Class and monitor feedback so that we can continue to improve and strengthen our Timetable offering.

NEW Outdoor Training Area 

Thank you to everyone who has provided such positive feedback regarding the new outdoor training area, we are glad that this has had a positive impact on your outdoor training experience.

Please keep sending your feedback in so that we can review our offering to make sure we have the right mix for all Members. 

NEW Solo Spin Classes 

We will continue to offer a Virtual Solo Spin experience in the Spin Studio whereby an individual Member can book and take part in a Virtual Instructor led Class following along on our big screen in the Spin Studio. 

We have over 20 recorded classes to choose from taught by Roy, Tanysha and Zuzana. These classes are from our online platform of classes and we are recording more content and we are also working on improving the quality of the videos. 

This is another avenue for Members to take part in another popular activity. 

Solo Spin Classes will be 45mins in length and can be booked on the same time slots as Gym sessions throughout the week. For further Class booking information please see below. 

Online Fitness Class Update – Monday 17th May 2021
