Croquet Communiqué

Association Croquet introductory lessons  

David Mooney (C.A. Coach) is offering a series of Association Croquet Coaching sessions for up to six players.  

• 11th January, 2pm 
• 25th January, 2pm 
• 8th February, 2pm
• 22nd February, 2pm

Sessions will last one and half-hours, and will cost £10 per person, per group session. He anticipates that participants will practice between sessions.

One-to-one coaching is also available by arrangement, at £15 per hour.

Croquet Section Christmas Party

Don’t forget the Christmas Party in the Pavilion at 12.30pm on Wednesday 18th December. Tickets are £5 to include raffle tickets, and are available from Jeannette Burn, Theresa Delaney and Sue Tumath.

Floodlit Lawns

Anyone can make use of the floodlights on the Croquet Lawns – just phone Reception and tell them which lawn you are using, and they will turn them on. Please remember to tell them when have finished playing. 

When the evenings are very cold, please leave the lawns if a frost is forming, (footsteps turning white is a sure sign), to avoid damage to the grass.
