Bridge Report
Our successful run of friendly matches has continued into the new season.
Many congratulations to Peter Bonor Morris, Jeanette Reid, Julie Bacon, Maria Wiehe, Linda Major, Linda Wareham and Roger and Marie Perry for a comprehensive win over the Carlton Club.
The Leagues are also now in full swing.
In the Business League the Diamonds Team have had a slow start, losing their first match. The Hearts team have had a mixed start: one big win, one narrow win and two losses.
In the Surrey Tennis league the team suffered a big defeat in their first match but have rallied to win their next two matches well.
In the Royal Wimbledon Golf League the team lost to Royal Mid Surrey.
The Annual Christmas Party is on 7th December at 6pm. As in previous years, the evening is a Black Tie event with a welcome drink, a three-course dinner with half a bottle of wine per person, followed by Chicago Bridge. All Members are welcome but the event is restricted to one guest per Member. Tickets are the same price as last year, £37 for Members and £43 for guests. Tickets are now on sale at Reception. Please book your tickets as soon as possible. Please note that when you book you will need to confirm your menu choices and any seating preferences.
