Spring activities for your diary

1. Art visits

Well done if you signed up to one of the private tours of the studios of Plowden & Smith, the fine art restoration company. The final two dates are 25th February and 12th March at 10.30am, make sure the date is in your diary and you can still come. Let Reception know immediately if you are not able to come as we have waiting lists for each date.

2. 125 exhibition

Art Group and PhotoClub members are invited to create paintings and photographs of the Club, for a combined exhibition to celebrate its 125th anniversary. There is limited space for display panels around the Club and so we will have to have a selection process. We want a broad spread of subjects and compositions. Be creative to increase your chance of selection. There will also be a rotating exhibition of images on a screen at the Club.

Email photos of entries for the selection process to 125artwork@roehamptonclub.co.uk by 27th March 2026 together with the size unframed in cms, the title and the name of the artist. Click here for the entry instructions or take a printed copy from under the art group notice board in Reception.

3. Spring class exhibition

The spring class exhibition 2026 will be from 16th March to 9th April and feature paintings from students in the three acrylics, pastels, and Monday evening beginner’s class. Your tutors will help you choose one of your artworks from the last year with entries by 6th March. Instructions forms are in the art studio and under the art group notice board in Reception.

4. Class exhibition opening drinks

Tuesday 17th March 6 to 6.45pm.
Open to all, no need to book.

5. AGM

Tuesday 17th March 6.45 to 7.30pm.
Open to all, no need to book.

6. Art Group summer garden party to celebrate the Club’s 125th anniversary celebrations

Thursday 18th June 2026 6pm to 8pm.
Drinks, canapes, prizes.
Save the date, booking will open in early March.
