2026 Roehampton Club Art Group Art Exhibition and Sale

Only Art Group members may enter the Art Exhibition and Sale 2026.

How to enter

Click here to open a copy of the 2026 entry form. You need a Google account to do this. If you don’t have one, it is free and easy to set up on Google. Simply type ‘how do you open a google account’ into Google. Or see below – Reception will sort out everything for your entry for you.
Fill in the details required and upload images of your artworks to the form, cropped and UNFRAMED. You do not need to upload images of any browser artworks.
Pay £5 per entry (unframed artworks for the browser are free) either through Reception or your Roehampton Club account online. The online link is in ‘Book Events’. Submit form.

That’s it. Any problems just ask for Rahma, Jimmy or Isabelle at Reception. They are all trained, they can complete the form on their computer with you and even upload your images for you. If you have difficulty taking photos of your artworks, then take your art to Reception, or an art class and the tutor or Reception will help take the necessary photos for you.
Completed entry forms must be received by the closing date of Friday 23rd October.

How many artworks can be entered

• A maximum of three framed artworks (which are to be hung); and/or
• A maximum of five sculptures or ceramics; and/or
• A maximum of five unframed paintings or drawings for the Browser

Sale of artworks

• You can decide whether any of your entries are for sale or not
• Indicate your intentions and any price on the Entry Form
• If the artwork is for sale the price, along with your contact details, must be included on the label on the back

Frame and fixing requirements for all hung paintings and drawings

• The artwork including frame, should be no larger than 80cm wide x 60cm deep.
• Paintings / drawings should not be copies of famous artworks. Reinterpretations are allowed.
• Ideally there should be no duplicates of paintings / drawings of images provided by tutors in class.
• Artwork should have a robust frame, which can clearly be hung safely for two weeks
• Box canvases do not need to be framed provided the sides are painted neatly, unless this is part of your artistic expression
• Artwork must have a strong cord or wire stretched tightly and securely between eyes situated on each side of the frame, a third of the way down the back. It must be clear that the frame can be hung safely for two weeks
• All artwork must have a label on the back showing the title, medium, name of the artist and phone number
• Clip frames, and frames with a central hanger will not be accepted

Presentation requirements for browser artworks

• Works on paper should be mounted and backed with a paper backing sheet
• All browser artwork must have a label on the back showing the title, medium, name of the artist, price and phone number
• All artworks must be presented in an individual clear cellophane sleeve / wrapping

IF ANY ARTWORK DOES NOT ADHERE TO THIS GUIDANCE, IT MAY NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE EXHIBITION.

Exhibition catalogue

• A catalogue will be produced listing the artwork included in the exhibition using the information on the entry forms
• Your contact details will only be included if you have offered an artwork for sale

Take in of artwork

• All entries should be brought to the Fountain Room on Sunday 8th November between 5 and 7pm where we will review framing, fixings and labelling
• If you are not able to deliver your artworks at this time, you should authorise someone to do this on your behalf

Decisions and responsibility

• All decisions on exhibiting and hanging are the sole discretion of the Art Group. Pictures may be hung in the function rooms, the Health Club or the Reading Room
• Neither the Club nor the Art Group are responsible for any loss or damage to artworks, for the storage of any item before or after the exhibition, or for any part of a sale process

Sales

• If you have offered one of your entries for sale and someone wishes to buy it, they are invited to contact you directly on the telephone number which you have provided on your entry form, on the label on the back of your artwork and which is included in the catalogue
• Any sale has to be agreed directly between yourself and the buyer. Neither the Club nor the Art Group will be involved in, or responsible for any sale arrangements or payments
• Following a sale you should obtain a red spot from Reception, attach it to the frame of the artwork which has been sold, and mark it as sold in the master catalogue at Reception. You should not ask Reception to do this for you
• Works sold should remain on display for the duration of the exhibition
• You should collect the artwork at the end of the exhibition and arrange with the buyer to hand it to them. You should not ask Reception to do this for you

Collection

• All artworks, both sold and unsold, should be collected from the Fountain Room on Sunday 22nd November between 3 and 5pm. If you cannot collect your artworks at this time, you should authorise someone to do this on your behalf. Please note that we cannot store artworks for you

Vote for Favourite Exhibit

• Visitors to the exhibition will be invited to vote for their three favourite artworks
• You agree that if you are the winner your artwork could be displayed in the Club for at least a month after the exhibition closes to celebrate the exhibition and promote the Art Group
