Gavin Rumgay

 

Eighteen-times Scottish National Table Tennis singles champion (third on the world’s all-time-great list) and currently holding 1,050 consecutive weeks as Scottish Number One – an all-time record).

 

Gavin is the Table Tennis World Championship 2020 bronze medallist – his greatest achievement making him Scotland’s most decorated player of all time.

 

He also medalled on the World Tour in 2018, the first Scottish player to achieve such a feat. London based he is also a former tennis National Junior Champion playing alongside Andy Murray.

Stephen Allott

 

Stephen Allott, MA (Cantab.) in 2026, celebrates 50 years  as one of the most accomplished UK executives in the computer industry. An expert in AI, he is and honorary member of the Cambridge University Computer Science Department. In 2012, Stephen became one of the 12 million Parkinson’s Disease sufferers worldwide, a number that has doubled in the last 20 years. His sport is table tennis, and he’s member of Moberly Table Tennis Club. Stephen also enjoys cycling, cricket, tennis, football and rugby.

 

Chairman of Tarigo Product Management Training Stephen is a technology and a community entrepreneur and is the current record holder for leading the most valuable United Kingdom origin organically grown software company to date. Micromuse Inc. was founded in Putney Bridge Road, Wandsworth, London SW18.

Stephen led the IPO of Micromuse Inc., on the NASDAQ and thence to a peak market cap of $7.5 billion. Stephen was the President, CFO and a main board director and led its growth from 10 to 800 people.

He is Venture Partner Emeritus at London based Seedcamp. Revolut, worth ?75 billion, is one of nine Seedcamp unicorns. An accomplished UK software business executive, Stephen has chaired thirteen boards and is the author of two online open-source software company management textbooks, Chronicles of Craft and Seedcamp Sales Tales.

Stephen was announced in 2011 by the Prime Minister, David Cameron, as the Crown Representative for Small and Medium Enterprises in the Cabinet Office, the first ever appointed. Stephen was the youngest ever chairman of the Bar Association for Commerce, Finance and Industry. He was the first in-house lawyer hired by Sun Microsystems outside the USA. He served as an elected member of the Bar Council for England and Wales for eight years.
