From 17th to 19th July, Roehampton Club was delighted to host the CTC 35+/45+ Competition, welcoming teams from Real Club de Tenis Barcelona-1899, LTTC Rot-Weiss Berlin, and Biarritz Olympique for a weekend of outstanding tennis on the Club’s renowned grass courts.

Thursday Ladies’ Morning has been revamped and now runs as a monthly 90-minute session on the last Thursday of each month starting at 9.30am.
Sessions must be booked in advance via the link below and will be limited to 16 players.
We’re pleased to offer a tennis hitting service for Members who would like to practise and sharpen their game.
Izzy will be offering hitting sessions at various times throughout the week, providing a great opportunity to work on rhythm, consistency and point play in a structured setting.
There are currently 6 LiveBall sessions running throughout the week this term. We’ve also added a new Saturday session from 8:30am–10:00am. For full details and to view all LiveBall booking options, please click here.
Wednesday evenings 6pm – 7.30pm
Tennis Club Night is the main social evening for all tennis Members—a great opportunity to meet fellow players, enjoy organised doubles matches. Led by a coach, this session ensures a mix of opponents and plenty of good games.
◊ No pre-registration required – just turn up and play.
◊ No player limit – all Members are welcome.
◊ Flexible participation – stay for the full duration or drop in for a game whenever it suits you.
The session takes place on Courts 1 to 5, with play both indoors and outdoors as needed.

Please note that the tennis committee have decided that the ball machine can now only be used on indoor courts at off peak times. Therefore between 9am and 12pm on weekends and 9am to 12pm and 4pm to 9pm on weekdays indoor court 1 should not be booked if you plan on using the ‘Slinger’ ball machine. The ball machines can be used at anytimes on the allocated outdoor courts which are courts 6 and 11.
On Bank Holiday Monday 25th May, Roehampton Club Men’s and Women’s Teams were crowned
champions of the NPL Tennis Finals!
A historic moment – the first time in 25 years that one club has claimed both titles. Congratulations!
… who won both singles and doubles at the 2026 British Open Masters Clay Court Championships presented by Fila – the biggest ITF Masters (30-85) tournament in UK.
Tough draws in both, long matches on grinding green clay, in the early 2026 heatwave! W65 category in both
Partner Sue Bartlett in doubles.
… who came third at the Grade 1 Grass National Championships at East Glos Club in Cheltenham.
Bea did it the hard way, having to qualify for the tournament via two matches, to gain entry to the main draw of 32. From there, she went on to the semi-finals, losing to the eventual winner 6-3,7-5.
Her third place finish meant she just missed a spot at the Junior Wimbledon Championships, which was reserved for the top two finishers!
