1st Tee Talk

As you may be aware, I am running the stock in the shop down to prepare for the handover to the new retailer at the Club. So if you have monies on your shop account, come and enjoy the bargains on all my 2019 and some 2020 stock before the end of March. Everything is on a deal to clear my stock.

I have kept all my suppliers’ accounts open until the last day of March, so I am still able to supply 2020 golf equipment, golf and tennis shoes from all the leading brands: Taylor Made, Callaway, Yonex, Foot-Joy, K-Swiss, Titleist plus others.

I have fabulous deals on stock, so get them while you can.

May I take this opportunity to thank you all for having supported me and my team of PGA Professionals over the past 12 years – it means an awful lot to me and I look forward to the next stage of my career as Head Golf Professional at Roehampton Club serving the best membership any professional could ask to serve.

The next stage is …

… making you a better golfer! Included in my role as Head Professional overseeing the PGA team for coaching and Member service, I will now have more time for my coaching and I am really looking forward to spending extra time on the lesson tee with Members. Since investing in Trackman, I have almost completely retooled my coaching dialogue and methods. I intend to improve and learn every year as a coach and this means shedding old ways to embrace changes in the game. The game is fluid and as a coach I have to move with technology and current influences and while many principles of the game will never change, I need to constantly source the very best methods to deliver improvements to your swing and game.

Over the coming weeks, I will be running articles on how to measure the angles within your golf swing against what the world’s best men’s and ladies’ tour players do. By measuring angles this past weekend, I added 40 yards to an established mid-teens handicap golfer’s drive as part of his pre-season preparation. Let sweet science help your game.

Enjoy your golf.
