Club Championships

As we get closer to Finals Day the Club Championships matches are starting to get interesting. The Semi Finals of most events will be played on the grass courts (hopefully) on Friday evening from 6pm. The Finals will be on Saturday 26th June. Play will start from 11am. Due to the covid-19 restrictions we are unable to hold an organised event, however we will have some socially distanced seating so Members can come and enjoy the finals. Please see the provisional order of play for Finals Day on Saturday.

Gill Lemore

After 16 years as a teaching professional at Roehampton Club, Gill Lemore is leaving the Club to start a new adventure as a Tennis Director at a school in Thailand. The Club will be hosting a small gathering on Thursday 1st July 12:30 until 2:30pm. If you would like to come to say goodbye to Gill and have a drink in the sunken gardens, please come along but please note the maximum gathering will be 30 people. I would like to thank Gill for all his years on the court teaching our Members and wish him luck in his new role.

Congratulations

This week, on 21st June, Members Matthew Salisbury and Helen Sykes were married. They are both active Tennis Members and we would like to offer our congratulations and best wishes for the future.
