As lockdown restrictions are going to be eased we photographers will be hoping that we can start to travel further from home to rekindle our enthusiasm for seeking locations to take interesting photographs.

Fortunately Zoom lessons have kept us going. Nigel Wilson’s lessons during the lockdown have been popular with each session fully subscribed.

Rob Borgars, our tutor for many years, is now able to re-join us and a series of five lessons on Zoom will be starting at the end of March. These lessons will concentrate on techniques and practical aspects of photography, with some revision and new techniques we have not previously covered. At the time of writing there are four spaces available so if there is anyone who would like further details and the cost of these lessons please email me at

We can now hope that the studio will be available in the not-too-distant future. The lessons in the studio are always fun and a good opportunity to get together and practice with our cameras.

If you haven’t already, don’t forget to view the PhotoClub Exhibition which can be found online here.
