Variety is the spice of life!

One of the biggest reasons you may be in a workout plateau is because you are continually performing the same routine day in, day out. Not only can it affect your results, but you’re less likely to stay motivated in the gym as it can become boring. By performing the same workout every time you hit the gym, your body will eventually get used to it and will stop burning as many calories. 

You can spice up your exercise routine by adding a different variety of training such as trying out new classes, incorporating both cardio and weight training into your gym routines or maybe even going swimming.  You can also vary your training intensity by changing anything from your rest periods or your rep range.

New Boxing Class Trial

We will be trialling a Boxing Class on Tuesday 11th February with Victoria in Studio Two from 8.30am to 9.15am. This will be a fun, high-energy boxing class using gloves and mitts. Classes are varied and boxers can perfect their moves while getting cardio fit. It’s an all over body work out and we mix it up with a Tabata or two and some serious abs!
