The Lawns are booked for the weekend of 11th and 12th September, 2021, for the Annual Association Croquet Hussar Cup – also known as the ‘End of Season (AC) Handicap Weekend’.
Three Roehampton Club Members are taking part: Elaine Phillimore, Lynn Pearcy and Nicholas Halton – we wish them every success.
We are approaching the final few games in this year’s competitions, and we thank all participants for their efforts to meet deadlines, and keep the play up to date, with increased numbers and variable weather, it is good to be on schedule.
As a result of Covid, the Club has not had as many friendly matches as normal. However, we have recently played two hastily arranged fixtures. Last Friday against Woking, at home, a most enjoyable day’s play resulted in a drawn result. The other was against All England Club, where the Roehampton Club Team were stronger than their opponents, and ran out comfortable winners.

This Friday 3rd September, we play Hurlingham at home, friendly GC match, our team consists of Gill Bray, Carmel Brancen, Trevor Campbell and Caroline Dewar. We wish them success.
