Bridge Summer Party

Saturday 18th June 6 – 10.30pm

I do hope many of you will be able to come and join us for our Bridge Summer Party.

Following a glass of Pimm’s in the garden there will be a delicious barbecue supper which will include a selection of mains and salads followed by dessert, tea/coffee.

After supper we will play some friendly Chicago bridge with a variety of prizes on offer.

Match Reports

Devonshire Cup

Well done to the Roehampton Club team consisting of Malcolm Bricknell, Ralph Evers. Peter Hardyment, Peter Bonnor- Morris and Philip Howard, who claimed a solid win against the RAC Pigeons in a very tight and competitive match to go through to the semi-finals. Good luck for the next match.

Commiserations to our other team (Viv Harris, Paul Ambrus, Danny and Sally Gesua) who lost their match in the quarter finals.

Southeast of England- Teams of Eight- National Final

As the only winning Surrey Team in the Metropolitan Cup, Peter Hardyment captained the Surrey team of 8 players including Malcolm Bricknell and qualified to play last Saturday in the National Finals.

After 6 gruelling hours of inter county matches, I am pleased to report that the team won overall coming top out of 20 different county teams.

Congratulations to them all for a fine win.

Bridge Match vs Coombe Hill (Away) – Tuesday 31st May 8.30am

Sorry to report this match has unfortunately been cancelled by Coombe Hill.
