Samuel Peploe, John Duncan Ferguson. Robert Hunter and Francis Cadell, four of the most gifted painters of their generation, were dubbed the Scottish Colourists as they occasionally exhibited together. Anne Anderson is an Art Curator, holder of prestigious Fellowships and has lectured on Art all over the world.
The lecture may be watched for free on zoom by Club Members as a one-off extra autumn lecture. There will be no audience at the Club and no recordings.
The Zoom meeting will open at 6.45pm, with a short video of artwork by students of our art classes, in time for the lecture to start at 7pm; the lecture should take around 45 minutes plus Q&As and finish at 8pm.
