Join Club Member and Blue Badge Guide Viv Haxby for a virtual talk on Stately Houses Burghley, Hatfield and Syon.
Viv will talk about three magnificent stately homes. One was built as an Elizabethan ‘prodigy’ house, another is an exquisite example of a Jacobean house, and the third has an exterior which dates to the C16 and interiors which are some of the best examples of the work of Robert Adam.
We will also learn about the architecture of the houses, the families that built them and the treasures they contain.
